Caro (“Caro,” the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and protect personal information when you use the Caro application and related services.

Article 1. Purpose

Caro establishes this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to protect the personal information (“Personal Information”) of individuals who use the services provided by the Company (“Users”) and to promptly and appropriately address privacy-related inquiries and complaints.

The Company processes Personal Information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Personal Information Protection Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection of the Republic of Korea.

Article 2. Principles for Processing Personal Information

The Company may collect and process Users' Personal Information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and this Policy.

Personal Information collected by the Company may be provided to third parties only with the User's consent or where another lawful basis exists.

However, where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or requests from competent authorities, the Company may provide Personal Information to third parties without obtaining prior consent from the User.

  1. The Company makes this Policy available through its website or a page linked from the website so that Users can easily review it at any time.
  2. When publishing this Policy, the Company will make reasonable efforts to present it in a clear and accessible manner.

Article 4. Changes to this Policy

  1. This Policy may be amended in response to changes in applicable privacy laws, regulations, guidelines, government policies, or the Company's services and policies.
